Frequently Asked Questions: Before Booking

How do I book you or your team?

For weddings we require a contract, quote, and 50% retainer to secure your date.

Once those items are submitted and approved, you will have a reserved booking, and the date is yours!

What foundation do you use?

Most of our artists are trained in airbrush as well as traditional foundation application. Artists use a variety of brands in their kits but the most popular are: Dior Forever Glow, Estee Lauder Double Wear, TEMPTU s/b formula, and Chanel Les Beiges.

Are lashes included in the price?

Lashes are always part of the price for all adult women's makeup services. Individual lashes can be added as an upgrade. Brides receive individual clusters included in their package.

Do you charge for travel?

We do charge for select cities/towns outside of Tucson/PHX. Please check with the office team for travel prices.

What is in the touchup kit that I receive at my wedding?

Our Bride will receive one full sized HVH Lipstick in your color, mini lash glue, blotting papers, q-tips, beauty bag, hairspray, brush, makeup wipes, and bobby-pins. The Platinum and Gold Team artists do carry lipstick inventory and can sell them directly to the party on the wedding day as well.

Will my makeup and hair last all night?

YES! Our makeup and hairstyles are built to last! We use all waterproof and long-wearing makeup products. All of our hairstylists are trained to build a hairstyle that will withstand the days demands as well.

Can I choose my artists?

Yes! We are one of the only team that offers this option! The Platinum Team includes Heather and Rebekah and the Gold Team includes Gabby and Chelsea.

We also have the Traditional Team. This option does not include choice of artist but does is a great value and economical price point.

Can I book a trial with your artists without booking my wedding date?

Due to our current demand, we are currently not offering this option unless the client is booked with a preferred planner.

If I complete 1 of the 3 items needed to book (contract, quote, deposit), will you hold my date or let me know if another client wants my date/time?

Unfortunately with the volume of inquiries and bookings we manage, we are not able to hold any dates or inform clients of other potential bookings on their date. The only way to secure the reservation is to successfully complete all 3 items.

How many people can you accommodate for my wedding?

We can accommodate parties of up to 40 based on our availability and timing.

How many artists will you bring to my wedding/event?

We book artists based on the demands of the wedding. Any party less than 4 makeup/hair packages will receive 1-2 artists, 5-8 packages in a party receives 2 artists, 9-11 packages in a party receives 3 artists, and 12-14 packages in a party receives 4 artists. Please inquire about parties 15 or more.

How long will it take you to do makeup and hair for my party? -or- What time will you need to start the day of my wedding?

We ask that you secure 6 hours of beauty time for your wedding day. The start time will be based on the time that you and your photographer decide you need to start your pictures. Expedited schedules are available for an additional fee, please inquire with the office team for a quote.

Can I subtract services from my quote after I accept it?

Unfortunately, we cannot remove any services from the quote once the booking is secured. We recommend booking conservatively so your party is not financially responsible for any empty bookings. You may add on later if we still have artist availability to accomodate.

Can I add services to my quote later?

As long as we still have the availability, you absolutely may. Please let us know ASAP when you are ready to add services to your quote. We book out the day based on timing of the artists and services requested, so availability can change quickly and unexpectedly.

What if I do not know how I want my makeup and hair for my wedding? Will you help me?

We would love to help you! We will ask you questions based on your personal style, color palette, mood of the wedding, comfort level and taste. From there, we will make recommendations that will be flattering for your skin tone, hair type/color, eye shape, etc.
